Well-marked trails either circular or linked to the neighbouring villages will allow you to discover Xonrupt, the lakes, the Vologne river and the surrounding forests.

Letters A,B,C,D of the following itineraries correspond to those on the map and are the starting points of these walks. As for the other itineraries, you will have to buy the walking maps of the Club Vosgien either at the shop L'Osella or at the Gérardmer-Xonrupt tourist office.

A. Pont des Fées trail

A walk along the Vologne river through the woods.

B. Roche du Page trail

A walk around the Roche du Page from the top of which you will overlook the valley.

B. Roche des Chiens trail

A walk through the woods overlooking The Straiture.

C. Roche des Vieux Chevaux trail

Starting on the right-hand side of the Longemer lake, it will take you to the Collet de la Mine and to the lake of Lispach. Nice viewpoint of the Longemer Lake from the top.

C. Lake of Lispach trail

Starting on the right-hand side of the lake of Longemer. It will take you to the lake of Lispach.

D. Right-hand side of the lakes of Longemer and Retournemer trail

Walking along the lakes through the woods with nice views on both lakes.

D. Belbriette trail

Starting from Longemer it will take you to Belbriette pond and clearing.

Lake of Longemer trail

A walk around the lake.

Charlemagne waterfall trail

A walk around the lake of Retournemer and through the woods up to the waterfall.

Sentier des Roches trail

Starting from La Schlucht pass, it will take you to the Trois Fours high pastures.
